Wet, Dry and Cryogenic Grinding of 96 Samples at Once

The BeadBlaster 96 is a ball mill homogenizer built for throughput. It handles wet homogenization, dry grinding and cryogenic grinding on the same instrument, across biological research, environmental testing and industrial samples.

An arced sample motion combined with a powerful motor moves samples through a cycle quickly. Every parameter is set digitally on the large touch screen, and nine programs can be stored, so a recurring method is recalled instead of dialled in again.

The safety cover lifts for access to the sample holders and locks itself the moment a run starts. The wrap-around lid is clear acrylic, so the run stays visible from the front and the sides.

Adapters are available for microplates, microtubes and 15 and 50 ml tubes, and grinding jars and balls come in a range of materials, which is what lets one instrument cover sample types that would otherwise need three.

Voltage versions

This instrument is supplied in two versions: IPD9600 for 120 V and IPD9600-E for 230 V. The two are identical apart from the power supply. Select the voltage before adding the instrument to your basket; for use in Europe that is the 230 V version, IPD9600-E.
