Paddle Blending in a Sealed Bag, up to 400 ml

The BenchMasher 400 is a paddle blender: samples up to 400 ml are loaded into a sterile blender bag, the door seals the bag on closing, and mixing paddles strike the outside of the bag rapidly to homogenize what is inside.

The paddles never touch the sample. That is the whole point of the design and the reason paddle blending dominates food, water and environmental testing: the instrument cannot carry material from one sample to the next, because nothing of the instrument enters the bag.

Mixing speed and cycle time are adjusted on the front panel. The model includes an incubation function and a UV chamber decontamination cycle, so a sample can be held at temperature and the chamber can be treated between runs.

Voltage versions

This instrument is supplied in two versions: IPD4400 for 120 V and IPD4400-E for 230 V. The two are identical apart from the power supply. Select the voltage before adding the instrument to your basket; for use in Europe that is IPD4400-E.
