Plates, Adapters and Cap Mats for the BeadBlaster 96

The consumables and holders that turn the BeadBlaster 96 into a plate-based system.

The 96 deep square well plate is moulded in toughened polyethylene for genomics work, at 2.0 ml per well. A version prefilled with 4 mm beads is available in packs of ten, which removes the ball-loading step entirely for labs that run the same protocol repeatedly.

The EVA cap mat seals the plate during homogenization and is DNase and RNase free, so the seal is not the source of the contamination the rest of the workflow is designed to avoid.

The adapter set holds microplates and the tube holder, supplied as a set of two so both positions in the instrument are filled.
