Digital Hotplate Stirrer, 300 C in Eight Minutes

A heated stirrer for mixing reagents and stirring bacteriological cultures, with a plate that reaches 300 C in about eight minutes. That heat-up time is the difference between starting a protocol now and waiting for the plate.

Stirring is driven by a brushless DC motor from 80 to 1500 rpm, and the magnets are strong enough to hold the bar at speed in a full vessel rather than losing it as the load increases.

Safety is handled in two ways: the unit shuts down if the plate passes 360 C, and a warning light stays on while the plate is still hot.
