The 3D Nutating Mixer combines the movement of an orbital shaker with that of a 2D platform rocker, producing a gentle three-dimensional motion that mixes thoroughly without shearing the sample. It runs at a constant 24 rpm with a 20° tilt angle, which makes it a fit for routine mixing, staining and washing steps rather than for aggressive homogenization.

The 260 x 260 mm platform takes a range of vessels and containers up to a combined 0.8 kg, and the dimpled non-skid mat keeps them in place while the platform moves.
