Compressor Refrigeration, So Nothing Warms Up Mid-Run

Bead homogenization generates heat. For temperature-sensitive molecules that heat is the problem: proteins denature and RNA degrades during the very step meant to release them.

The BeadBlaster 24R answers that with true compressor-based refrigeration. No dry ice, no liquid nitrogen, no compressed air supply. Set the temperature, precool the chamber, and the chamber holds that temperature throughout the run rather than drifting upward as the cycles accumulate.

Everything else the BeadBlaster 24 does is retained. Available in 115 volt and 230 volt versions.

Voltage versions

This instrument is supplied in two versions: D2400-R for 120 V and D2400-R-E for 240 V. The two are identical apart from the power supply. Select the voltage before adding the instrument to your basket; for use in Europe that is D2400-R-E.
