Semi-Skirted 96-Well Plate for PCR and qPCR
A standard-profile 96-well plate with straight sides, for PCR, qPCR and other molecular biology assays. The semi-skirt gives enough rigidity to handle and seal the plate without the footprint of a full skirt, and it drops into the common thermal cyclers without an adapter.
Well ridges around each opening give sealing film something to bite on, which is what keeps evaporation down over a long cycling programme. The wells are crystal clear, so a sample volume can be checked by eye before the run starts.
