Manual Decapper for One Push Cap or a Row of Eight

Push caps go on easily and come off less easily, which is why a decapper exists. The Decapper-1 lifts a single cap; the Decapper-8 takes a whole row of eight in one movement.

There is a third version worth knowing about. The Decapper-8 in aluminium is made for frozen tubes, where a plastic tool flexes and slips instead of gripping. If racks come out of a -80 freezer and get opened cold, that is the one to order.
