Where the 1.40 ml formats run short, this 6.00 ml tube gives a working volume of 4.80 ml at +21 °C in a 24-well rack, so larger aliquots stay inside the same rack-based workflow instead of moving to loose tubes.

The tube is moulded in medical-grade polypropylene and carries a 2D Data-Matrix code on the base. It arrives precapped with a grey screw cap of the single-turn type, which stays seated through repeated freeze-thaw cycles rather than working loose at the point where a sample matters most.
