Codes Moulded Into the Tube, Not Printed On It

These 1.40 ml storage tubes carry alphanumeric, 2D Data-Matrix and 1D rack barcodes, all permanently laser-etched rather than applied as a label.

The code surface is fused into the clear tube wall by a patented 2K injection moulding technique. That is the difference that matters over a ten-year storage period: a moulded code cannot lift, peel or abrade off the way a printed or adhesive code does, so a tube pulled from deep storage still identifies itself.

Every 2D code passes a 100% check on readability and uniqueness before the tube leaves production. The internal thread and flat outer bottom keep the tube stable on the bench and in automated handling.
