Flip 'n Fold™ Bags provide a simple, sterile, and secure method for collecting samples. To use, remove the tear strip above the wire closure and pull the two external grip tabs to open the bag’s mouth to your preferred size. The grip tabs ensure sterility by preventing direct finger contact with the opening, reducing the risk of contamination. Once the sample is inside, flip or fold the bag three times, bend the wires, and the sample will be sealed in an airtight, moisture-resistant environment.
Constructed from virgin polyethylene, Flip 'n Fold™ Bags offer superior clarity and strength. They meet USDA, EPA, and FDA standards and are certified sterile, RNase-free, DNase-free, and non-pyrogenic. To enhance safety, the stainless steel wire is enclosed in an extended PVC tab, which prevents exposure to sharp ends that could cause punctures, scratches, or glove tears.
Several sizes of the bags feature a white printed labeling area, eliminating the need for additional tapes or labels. This marking area ensures that notes are clear, long-lasting, and resistant to smudging. Despite their 55oz (1600mL) capacity, these bags fold completely flat, saving valuable storage space.
