SmartBlue PLUS UV and Blue Light Glasses
Working over a UV or blue LED transilluminator means looking directly at wavelengths that damage the eye. These glasses block from 280 nm in the UV through to 490 nm in the blue.
The harder trick is blocking that light while still letting you see the gel. The filter is tuned so bands stained with Ethidium Bromide, SmartGlow, SYBR Green and similar dyes stay clearly visible, which is what makes precise band cutting possible rather than guesswork.
